This two-day team event facilitated by trickyBASICS enables you to provide clarity, purpose, and connectedness for you and your team.

So many problems faced by managers would likely not arise if a manager's number one priority was giving clarity to their team. If ambiguity is the enemy, then clarity is your best friend.

In our experience, most issues that crop up for managers can be traced back to a lack of clarity provided to their team in one or more of the following areas:

  • Why the team exists and how it contributes to the success of the organisation.

  • What’s expected in terms of performance.

  • What’s expected in terms of HOW to go about delivering the WHAT.

  • The needs of the team’s key stakeholders.

  • The different personality preferences within the team and how to get the best from individuals.

To address this, we have created a two-day team experience during which we guide you and your team through our process to jump-start the elimination of ambiguity in all of these areas.

How will this event benefit you and your team?

Working with us, you and your team will achieve three outcomes, helping you nail the core success factors of leading a team.

  2. Articulating the key areas of focus and delivery for the team, based on what their stakeholders’ needs are. 

  3. Getting to know the personality style of each individual on the team so that you can leverage their strengths, interact with them in a way they respond best to, build great relationships and get the performance you need from them as a team.

Our facilitated workshop, "The Ultimate Team Event" is founded on a powerful combination of Simon Sinek’s work on ‘Start with Why’, and the ‘Facet5 Personality Profiling Tool’.

Each session is unique to you, and we’ll work individually with you and your team members prior to the event, then bring you together (using technology if it can’t be face-to-face) for a clarifying, productive, fun and bonding experience.

How does this team event work?

What will you and your team do before coming together for your team event?

  1. Complete the online Facet5 Personality Profiling questionnaire so that we can produce each team members Facet5 Personality Profile report in time for the team event

  2. Receive individual 90-minute debrief sessions on the Facet5 report so that team members have the opportunity to ask questions and arrive at your team event understanding their report and what it predicts about their personality.


What will you and your team do with us over the two-day event?

Day 1

  1. Reaffirm why you exist as a team and the impact you need to have, so that you all come to work each day with clarity and confidence.

  2. Articulate what the team’s key areas of focus and delivery should be, so that you can successfully meet the needs of the team’s key stakeholders.

  3. Articulate what ‘being an effective team’ looks like, so that everyone is clear about the behaviours and values that will underpin your joint success.

  4. Remind you and the team what the Facet5 Personality Profile measures and find out how your profiles compare to each other, so that you and your team can identify the reason for the differences and have a common language to talk about these differences.

  5. Begin to understand each other’s individual personality profiles and how you each like to be interacted with, so that you can build great relationships and work together effectively.

Day 2

  1. Learn how to apply the Facet5 Model for team problem solving, so that whenever you need to work through an issue or problem as a team, you have a structure to follow.

  2. See how your team’s "personality" serves you when you come together to solve problems. Overcome any gaps to keep you operating as an effective team of problem solvers.

  3. An opportunity to apply Facet5’s problem-solving model to a real-time problem, so that you and the team can see how it works and remember how to apply it back at work – plus, you’ll get a current problem solved!
